Marsala is a lovely town placed just in the west point of Sicily. This
year it is European Wine Town 2013 as it has an important story with wine
and wineries.

In town you can swim in 2 places, but more beautiful beaches are at 3-4 km
south, where beautiful sandy beaches are, called lido signorino, while going north
you have all the coastline of the Stagnone, than mothia and beaches.

4 stunning storic places at 40 minutes by car are:
Mothia (the little island facing Marsala with Natural reserve with
saltpans and windmills);
Selinunte - as much beautiful as more famous Agrigento with a beautiful
archeological area on the sea -
Segesta with its greek theater on a hill and a temple
Erice - incredible beautiful medieval town at 800 meters.

As restaurant and wine bars, you cannot miss La Sirena Ubriaca - extremely
trandy wine bar and many little restaurant :

extremely authentic!!
